Over is a browser extension that adds a transcribe-and-send action to the native dictation interface on its supported chat website.

Summary

Over does not collect, sell, rent, store, or transmit personal information or conversation content. It has no analytics, advertising, account system, remote server, or third-party data recipient.

Information the extension handles

Over runs only on https://chatgpt.com/*. While you use its transcribe-and-send button, it temporarily inspects the page’s composer text and controls to:

• confirm that non-empty transcription text has appeared;
• determine whether the text has stopped changing; and
• confirm that the site’s native Send button is available.

This information is processed only in the browser tab’s memory to perform the requested action. It is never recorded, retained, sent to Over, or shared with any third party.

Over does not access, record, process, or upload microphone audio. Native dictation and transcription remain handled by the supported chat website.

Permissions and network use

Over uses a content script only on the supported website. It does not request microphone, camera, storage, tabs, history, or background-service permissions. It does not make network requests or connect to external servers.

Third-party services

Your use of the supported chat website, including its dictation and transcription features, is governed by that website’s own terms and privacy policy. Over is an independent extension and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the provider of that website.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version and its effective date will be published on this page.
